Podcast Ping 40 - Moonlight Melodies

Although this is episode 40, if one counts the bonus episodes included to make up for the lack of content in the first 9 episodes, it is really episode 49. And if one includes the Dark Crystal commentary as well as the Beowulf readings, that number gets to be about 75 posts on the Podcast Ping feed. (Blue Hot Gossip and The Silent Pen are on different feeds.) So the episode number really reflects the number of episodes using the music and poetry format, which is what I was trying to do when I added the bonus episodes.

I was able to squeeze in this episode today. I edited it last night. I've got up to part 30 recorded (of the 41 parts excluding the prelude) but I still need to edit them. I hope to finish the raw recordings next week.

I've recorded 24 but still have to edit it. If I can get it done in time I'll post it tomorrow. Right now I'm looking to have it finished by the end of March, possibly sooner.

Beowulf Reading Part 22

I'm back with more Beowulf. I was going to wait another week, but with the DVD of the movie coming out this week I wanted to get it out while it was fresh in people's minds. With the Mininova postings, the episodes have been getting over a thousand downloads each and I didn't want to loose that momentum. If I can, I'll try to get about four or five a week done. The popularity of Beowulf has suggested a new project that will change Podcast Ping and I would like to get to as soon as possible.
